Volunteer
There are two different ways you can volunteer.
You may come to the vet’s office on Tuesday- Friday for dog walking. We will provide a slip-lead and a regular collar and leash (All our dogs must be double-leashed at all times). We will also offer treats. Dogs are available for walks between 10a-12:30p and 3p-4:45p. When you enter the lobby, ask for either Stephanie or Chad, and we will assist in assigning a dog whose size and energy level you will feel comfortable handling.
On Tuesdays (weather permitting) from 6p-7p, Chad Ferrell holds puppy classes for Animal Care Clinic’s clients and rescues to help train dogs for adoption. We will provide you with a slip-lead and a no-pull harness with a leash (dogs must always be double-leashed). Depending on the class level, we will also offer training treats and other materials. At 6 p.m., the course begins in the office's lobby and proceeds to the surrounding area. Please call the office (even if scheduled) before coming, as weather and office emergencies can sometimes cause a cancellation.
